Return & Refund Policy

Last updated: 5 August 2026

Important: HalalPoints Media Ltd is a publisher, not a retailer. We do not take orders, take payment, hold stock, ship goods or process refunds. Any purchase you make after following a link from this website is a contract between you and the merchant that operates the checkout (Esslyn, trading through esslyn.com, [email protected]). This page summarises the merchant's published policy and your statutory rights so you know what to expect before you buy.

1. The merchant's guarantee

At the time of writing, the merchant offers a 30-day guarantee on unused purchases. Items must be returned in their original, undamaged packaging with all accessories and documentation. On receipt and inspection, the merchant issues a full refund of the product price or a replacement, less shipping and handling. Return postage is normally paid by the customer unless the item is faulty or was sent in error.

2. Your UK statutory rights

Where the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 apply to your order, you have a 14-day cooling-off period beginning the day after you receive the goods, during which you may cancel for any reason. The merchant must refund you within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or of receiving proof of return. You may handle goods as you would in a shop; if you handle them more than necessary, the merchant may reduce your refund.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If they are not, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund from the merchant. These rights are in addition to any commercial guarantee and are not affected by it.

Note that when a seller is established outside the United Kingdom, some UK-specific remedies may be harder to enforce in practice. Check the merchant's own terms, refund policy and registered location on the checkout page before ordering.

3. How to start a return

  • Contact the merchant's customer service at [email protected].
  • Quote your order number, the email address used at checkout, the date of purchase and the reason for the return.
  • Wait for a return authorisation and the return address before sending anything back.
  • Use a tracked service and keep proof of postage; unauthorised or untracked returns may not be refunded.

4. Items that may not be returnable

  • Products that have been used, fired, fuelled or otherwise show signs of thermal use.
  • Items returned without original packaging, safety documentation or accessories.
  • Gas canisters, fuel and other hazardous goods, which cannot normally be sent by post and are excluded from returns for safety reasons.
  • Items returned outside the guarantee window without a defect claim.

5. Faulty or damaged on arrival

Report visible transit damage or a fault within 48 hours of delivery where possible, with photographs of the item and the outer packaging. Do not attempt to use, repair or dismantle a damaged gas-fuelled product. The merchant will normally arrange a replacement or a full refund including delivery charges in these cases.

6. Refund timing and currency

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Card issuers typically take 3-10 working days to show the credit. The merchant prices in US dollars; your bank's exchange rate and any foreign-transaction fee at the time of the refund may differ from the rate applied at purchase, so the sterling amount returned may not exactly match the amount charged. Import duty or courier handling fees paid on delivery are generally not refundable by the merchant.

7. Disputes

If the merchant does not resolve your issue, you may raise a chargeback or Section 75 claim with your card provider, or contact Citizens Advice consumer service. You can also tell us at [email protected] — while we cannot process a refund, we log complaints about advertisers and may remove campaigns that generate unresolved consumer issues.
